Good news about Rudraksha from Bhimashankar From website of Mr. Kamal Seetha, author of the book "The Power of Rudraksha":
Most interesting for us from the book From the readers:
Book itself didn't disappointed even those, who spend most of time in groves with Rudraksha trees during last couple of years. As one of the most important example - fragments about Rudraksha from Shiva-Purana. This Purana also called "Shiva Maha Purana", as its one of the largest, central purana, dedicated to Shiva. In early times Shiva Purana was much bigger, however even present much shortened version is hard to find and read in full volume (or to meet someone who did that). Rudra - the supreme lord and origin of Rudraksha - leaves His eyes semi-opened for unimaginable-continous time. After this act of Maha-yoga the falling tears of this God became the Rudrakshas, by His will. This is 3-rd among similar version, coming from scriptures about the origin of Rudrakshas: in "Rudra Yamala Tantra" God keeps His eyes open (Trataka) for 1000 of Heavenly years, while in "Rudraksha Jabala Upanishada" He keeps eyes closed for the same time. Here, in Shiva Purana, the eyes of the God are semi-closed. To be continued
